In this role, you will share responsibility for travel planning and the management of the deck crew. You will ensure and supervise compliance with laws and regulations, maintain certificates and ship administration and oversee that all work is carried out safely.
You will work closely with a tight-knit team of six crew members of Dutch-speaking officers. The current rotation in sea towage is 4 weeks on/4 weeks off in Europe and 6 weeks on/6 weeks off for assignments outside of Europe.
Your profile
- You hold at least an STCW 2010 Certificate of Competency as Chief Mate <3000 GT or higher, along with valid STCW certificates, a valid medical certificate, and a seaman’s book.Experience on a tug is an advantage.
- You are resourceful, proactive, and able to take initiative and work independently.You are proficient in Dutch and English, both written and spoken.
